Madison Ave and the Roman Empire

It is alleged that because millions participate in it, certain reproduction processes are necessary that inevitably require identical needs in innumerable places to be satisfied with identical goods.

-Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer (1944)

This follows the same model that was ushered in with Roman expansion of Christianity. Local geo-historically founded identity, religious and cultural practices, resulted in being swept away. Madison Ave and the Romans, have much in common.

- John Joseph Kehoe (2014)

in the houses of worship......one anyway

The houses of worship are houses where people gather to socialize and spent time cultivating their interests such as cafes and long sits for reading, or thinking, or discussing.
Houses of worship, gain revenue, so they are outside of religious denominations, of course, but to use this term, I simply codify spending time with others, with terms used for the what was considered sacred in ages past. What could be more sacred than sharing with others, laughs, good times, ideas, or coffee while one plots their engagement with the world.
